New keynote speakers

Two new keynote speakers added for ECP 2023

We are delighted to announce that Serdar M. Değirmencioğlu and Tiago Pereira have been added to the list of keynote speakers for July’s congress.

 

Serdar M. Değirmencioğlu is a developmental and community psychologist who has produced groundbreaking work on neglected social issues around the world, such as the psychosocial consequences of personal debt.

 

He has served as a consultant to the World Health Organization, Unicef, and the Council of Europe, and has received accolades and awards for his work on the psychology of peace, conflict and violence.

 

Tiago Pereira is an executive board member and former Covid-19 crisis cabinet coordinator of the Portuguese Psychologists’ Association.

 

He is a specialist in the area of work, social and organizational psychology, as well as educational psychology, and a former assistant professor at the University of Évora.

 

He will be speaking about the role of psychological science, practice and professional associations in ending poverty.
